Upon completion of filming his movie The Ugly Truth, Eric will now jump into a new TV pilot for ABC. This new show is with DreamWorks for ABC network and is a half hour single camera comedy. The Cast includes along with Eric, Alyssa Milano, Beau Bridges, Annie Potts, and Amanda Detmer. It now has a working title "Single with Parents" and was created by Kristin Newman one of the very smart writers of that 70's show and How I Met Your Mother. Lets hope this is one of the new shows you see on the ABC schedule for next season.

After doing a couple more episodes of Brothers and Sisters pre-strike, Eric has now jumped over to the CBS drama Moonlight post strike. He is playing the new Assistant District Attorney Ben Talbot. A strong and confident character looking to stir it up a little with Mick and Beth.

Along with this exciting new role, Eric will also be starring in his biggest movie role to date...The Sony/Lakeshore film called The Ugly Truth. The movie stars Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler. He will be playing Colin Anderson a doctor and neighbor of Katherine's character that she ultimately falls for. Production for this movie starts in April.

Also get ready for the premiere of Harold and Kumar 2 which is coming out in April and getting amazing reviews!

Unfortunately Viva Laughlin barely saw the light of day, but fortunately for Eric he will be back on Brothers and Sisters sooner than later to reprise his role as Jason McCallister! The Episodes that are set up for his return will be exciting and will definitely leave you wanting more...The tough thing for everyone, fans included, will be the looming writers strike. This will be a tough time for television although the film world will still be functioning. Once Eric finishes this next episode, which will be his second, we will all have to hang tight until the strike is resolved to see where the story will go. Eric did want to say thank you to all who supported him in Viva Laughlin even though the show wasn't for everyone....

The latest news to report is simply how exciting the episodes of Viva Laughlin are looking! Eric has been working away on the show and says the story points and the songs of choice are fantastic... All of the music is stuff that just makes you want to sing along and the lyrics fall perfectly into the story lines. The plot twists that unfold with his character as well as the others are so fun to watch develop..Hopefully America will see the brilliance of this new show and support it! Stay tuned....

There's been a break in news but we now pick up with Erics return to Brothers and Sisters. He'll be reprising his role as Jason McCalister for at least one more episode with the season premiere.

Following that he will start up work on his new show Viva Laughlin! Viva Laughlin will be having a special premiere episode on Oct 18th at 10pm following CSI. It will then replay on Oct 21st at 8pm. It's permanent time slot. So be sure to tune in Sun's at 8pm for this amazing new show!

Yesterday at the CBS upfronts, it was announced that Viva Laughlin will be airing on Sunday nights at 8pm in the fall line up.

Also an important reminder... This Sun May 20th is the season finale of Brothers and Sisters, where Eric continues his role as Jason McCalister.

Eric has been busy on the heels of more than a few projects and after having completed on-location shooting for the upcoming Harold & Kumar 2, he's back at it again.

He's landed a recurring role on ABC's hit series "Brothers & Sisters". Eric will be playing Jason McCallister, the younger brother of Senator McCallister played by Rob Lowe. His 1st episode will air on April 15th. For more information, make sure to check out ABC.com.

The second project that Eric's busy with these days is a pilot shoot for a new CBS show, "Viva Laughlin!". This project has Hugh Jackman ("X-men" Series,"The Prestige") executive producing alongside John Palermo ("X-Men: The Last Stand") and the BBC. In addition, the talents of writer/prod Robert Lowry (Showtime's "Huff") and director Gabriele Muccino ("Pursuit of Happyness"). Eric will be playing a young detective named Peter Carlyle on the pilot episode.

Another great chance to catch Eric Winter on the small screen is coming at you this April as he's set to appear in WB's newest series "Pepper Dennis". The new show, starring Rebecca Romijn & Brooke Burns, will feature Eric guest starring as "Connor Blantchard" in one of the show's premiere episodes. The air date is slated for sometime in April, so make sure to check your local listings for channel and time information.

Eric will be serving the law as Sheriff Luke Carson for a guest starring appearance. The show is set to air on the WB network, February 9, 2006 at 8:00pm. Eric will be in the beautiful country of Puerto Rico for his new role in a Lifetime Channel 3 part series, "Island Heat - Break In". He will be playing a character named "Cameron" starring opposite Kelly Carlson ('Nip/Tuck') and Carlos Ponce. This is the 3rd installment of the new 3 picture project for the Lifetime Channel. The production began shooting on the 22nd of May and was shot over 3 weeks in Puerto Rico. "Break In" is currently in post-production. The estimated air date is to be determined, but be sure to check your local listings for time and channel information in your area as it becomes available.

Eric has officially signed on to the cast of the sequel to 2004's cult classic, "Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle". New Line Cinema has brought back the second version, currently dubbed "HK2", already in early production in Shreveport, LA. Eric will be flying out to begin his work in the next few weeks.

With many of the original characters reprising their starring roles, Eric is set to play "Colton", the fiance to Kumar's (Kal Penn) ex-girlfriend. Playing a definite role in the adventures that Harold (John Cho) and Kumar will end up in.

Eric had this to say when asked about the opportunity, "I'm really excited to get started on "HK2". The film has a great following already and the new script has been getting great reviews. I think this one will do even bigger things."

For the past 2 1/2 months, Eric has been working in New Mexico for the ABC family show "Wildfire". It is a 5 episode arc with Eric playing "R.J. Blake", a professional bull rider. The new season of "Wildfire" is set to launch in January 2007. Make sure to check your local listings for air times and channels.
